National Genealogical Society Conference Logos
The National Genealogical Society hired me to design the logo for their 2020 conference, Echoes of Our Ancestors, with visuals reflecting the host location. I was invited back to design logos for their next two annual conferences, each tailored to that year’s theme and setting.
Greenhill Humane Society Logo Refresh
Greenhill Humane Society already had strong brand recognition in the community, so my goal was to retain its familiar look while giving it a modern update. I refined the typography, placing it beneath the existing artwork to create a more grounded and cohesive mark. Since the organization is commonly referred to as simply “Greenhill,” I emphasized that name in the new type treatment for greater clarity and impact.
Shelton McMurphey Johnson House Logo
Designed for Eugene’s iconic Victorian landmark, the Shelton McMurphey Johnson House Museum, this logo centers on a simplified illustration of the home’s original turret. I used the historic paint colors of the house—paired with its signature deep burgundy—to create a mark that feels both timeless and site-specific. The result is a logo that honors the architectural charm and legacy of this beloved museum while ensuring it translates cleanly across modern platforms.
A Very Victorian Holiday Logo
Designed for the Shelton McMurphey Johnson House Museum’s annual holiday celebration, this event logo captures the elegance and charm of a Victorian-era Christmas. I created a hand-drawn wreath motif to highlight the event’s festive spirit—and its popular wreath contest—while the vintage-inspired typography reinforces the historical character of the house. The result is a seasonal mark that feels timeless, warm, and perfectly suited to the museum’s beloved holiday tradition.
NextStep ReUse Store Logo
NextStep Recycling asked me to design a logo for its ReUse store that would complement their existing brand. I incorporated elements and colors from the primary NextStep logo to maintain visual continuity and reinforce the connection between the store and the organization’s mission.
Repair to ReUse Café Logo
A partnership between NextStep Recycling and Lane County Waste Management, the Repair to ReUse Café needed a logo that visually tied into the existing ReUse Store branding. I incorporated the same typography, positioning it above and to the left, to maintain brand consistency while giving the café its own distinct identity.
Willamalane Park & Recreation District Event and Department Logos
Brownsville Art Association Logo Refresh
To preserve the Association’s established identity, I redrew their logo based on an original sketch by one of the founders. I retained their signature gray-blue color, which was already consistent across branding and signage, creating a refreshed mark that honors the organization’s roots.
Valley Sims Branding
I created the logo for Valley Sims, Eugene’s premier indoor golf destination, to reflect the precision and excitement of the sport within a high-tech, modern setting. The design features clean, contemporary typography and a streamlined mark inspired by both motion and landscape—evoking the feel of a golf swing and the valleys of Oregon. A bold green and slate palette nods to traditional golf course colors while keeping the brand fresh and dynamic for an indoor experience.
Sharing Hands Food Bank & Thrift Store Logo
Located in Brownsville, Oregon, Sharing Hands provides food, clothing, and support to families in need—including fresh produce from their on-site garden. I designed a logo that reflects their mission of nourishment and care, combining imagery of hands and harvest to symbolize both giving and growth. The design unifies the Food Bank and Thrift Store under one compassionate, community-centered brand.
Lanz Cabinets Logo Refresh
As Lanz Cabinets expanded beyond custom home cabinetry into multifamily housing and countertop solutions, I updated their logo to reflect this growth while preserving over 60 years of brand recognition. The refreshed mark features clean, modern typography and a subtle wood planer shape in the negative space—symbolizing craftsmanship and evolution. The new tagline, Multifamily Solutions, clearly communicates their broadened scope.
SeenEugene Logo
I designed the logo for SeenEugene.com, my bi-weekly online photojournalism magazine featuring picture stories from around Lane County. The logo captures the spirit of visual storytelling, with a clean, modern look that reflects the magazine’s focus on community, creativity, and connection.
M.A.G.I.C. Logo
Commissioned by Cynthia Wooten, founder of the Oregon Country Fair, this logo was created for M.A.G.I.C.—Members Advocating for Genuinely Inspired Change. To symbolize a new dawn of possibility, the design features the Fair’s iconic peach reimagined as a rising sun. This visual metaphor reinforces the group’s mission to inspire positive transformation while staying rooted in the Fair’s beloved legacy.
The Bramble House Logo
The Bramble House is a uniquely styled event venue blending dark Victorian elegance with modern versatility—offering a full catering kitchen, bar service, and outdoor space for summer gatherings. I created a logo that evokes the venue’s moody charm and timeless appeal. Delicate bramble branches weave into refined typography, hinting at both natural beauty and gothic drama. The result is a brand identity as distinctive and atmospheric as the venue itself.
Wildish Theater 10th Anniversary Logo
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the Wildish Theater wanted a logo update that honored the milestone while maintaining the integrity of their existing branding. I added a custom anniversary banner that matched the established style and clearly marked the 10-year span—striking a balance between continuity and celebration.
